These photos are making me smile from ear to ear! 

I keep meaning to share more of my friend Stacy’s maternity session, but for whatever reason I haven’t… until now.  Once I finally started picking out which ones I wanted to share with you all in the land of blog, I soon enough realized that I had tons too many selected!  She looks so radiant in all of them… despite the fact that she was having contractions the entire time we were shooting!

So, brace yourself.  I narrowed it down quite a bit, but I still have a lot to share.

Goodness me…  I only started editing these moments ago and already I’m falling in love.  The families I met, the locations, the lighting, the fun I had – All amazingly great.  Thanks for having me, guys!  I truely had so much fun! 

Now.  I have to tell you – I had a rough time deciding where to begin my editing on all your sessions because I loved so many different images.  But, seeing as though I had to start somewhere so I could give you all the promised sneak peek… I just randomly picked a few of my immediate favorites.  In the days to come, keep checking back here because more of your images will start to appear for you to get a glimpse of… And, I hope you start to fall in love, just like I did!  : ]

Well, I’m back from traveling… Destination: Dallas was such a hit and I had such a fun time!  Over the next few days, I’ll have lots [and I do mean lots!] of awesome images to share with you.  If you were a part of those sessions, hang tight… You’re sneak peek will be up soon!

In the meantime, here’s a fun little session I did before I left for Dallas.  We did everything from hang out by a pond, visit McDonalds, fetch rocks out of kids’ noses, play with dinosaurs, and chill out at the park…  all before noon!  Here’s a peek into the magical time I shared with sisters, R + D:

In other unrelated, unimportant news….  The other day I ordered a cute little necklace from an Etsy vendor I found called Oh Hello Friend.  I practically lept with joy when it arrived.  Oh Hello Friend has such cute, dainty jewlery pieces – LOVE it!  But the reason I almost did a dance of joy when it arrived was because of the packaging.  [I am *such* a sucker for packaging. ]  The necklace was enclosed in a vintage style envelope with twine, stamps, handwritten notes, a button, etc…  I mean, come on?!  So awesome!  So anyhow, the envelope was way cute, the tags were adorable…  And, of course, the necklace was so simple and sweet.  I immediately fell in love….

These two little ones are twins (boy and girl!) and they had my heart melting from the first second I saw them…  Both are so tiny, so adorable, and so sweet!  They belong to the couple who live across the street from my family.  From the moment I moved in to the neighborhood and heard they were having twins, I started scheming for ways I could get these two little sugar bugs on my blog!  Lo and behold, about 4.5 months after I moved in, these two came popping out to greet their parents… and, only a week later, my camera.  : ]

Holy Talitos, Batman!  To my lovely friend T, her adorable mom J, and her oh-so-hilarious brother K:  I’m sorry your much bigger sneak peek that I promised earlier this week took longer to post than I thought!  My computer is acting goofy again…  I just simply don’t understand it.  It acts normal one day and then it’s as slow as can be the next?!  Taking at least 10 to 12.543 seconds to do 1 simple task like, um I don’t know, move the cursor from one spot to the next.  It drives me up the wall!  Grrrrr!

This is gonna have to be quick…. But, it’s a totally cool shot, so I think it’s worth it. 

I had a session with my friend T and her family this past weekend and we had such a fun time… I’ve known these guys since I was like 11 or something [gasp!], so our time together wasn’t at all like a typical session.  We goofed around, reminisced over old times, cussed Houston for having such confusing one-way roads one minute, and then completely gushed over it’s awesome photographic  locations the next….  Just having a good old time, ya know?!

Anyhow, T, K, and J… Thanks for hanging out with me!  It was fun!  Here is a very quick peek into your super fun session:

It happened again this past week!  A1 had another photo shoot with Academy Sports + Outdoors and boy was she thrilled – two weeks in a row is a pretty big deal, ya know?  This time she was there for 3 hours modeling all sorts of swimwear and cover-ups! 

I don’t have any photos to share this time around because I didn’t bring my camera with me.   I wanted us [me] to not appear so unprofessional…  Something about the model’s mom whipping out a big camera during a photo shoot and standing behing clients’ photographer screams goofy and not-likely-to-be-called-back-for-a-second-job to me and that’s certainly not what I want to ever happen [luckily me doing that on our 1st shoot didn't keep them from hiring her again].   Anyhow, I’m keeping my eyes peeled for her ad to come out though and I’ll post a link to it here when it does… It’s supposed to be on the web.  We’ll see.

Also, speaking of things happening again…  I had the most awesome maternity session today with one of my bestest friends and fellow photographer, Stacy!   She’s expecting again… for the 3rd time!  I can’t wait to work on her photos - they all turned out so cute.  Unfortunately they’ll have to wait in line… only for a day or two though.

I love days like today… Beautiful, crisp, only slightly-chilly-weather.  Yum – How perfect.  It felt like spring (again) and the flowers were in full bloom.  I had a few spare moments while chasing the kids on the driveway, so I snapped up the following photos of the flowers that have sprung up in my front flower bed.  I only took a couple and I’m quite thrilled that they turned out pretty nice!  : ]

Also, this past weekend I *finally* got to connect with The G Family again so I could take photos of the Handsome Mr. A (he has just turned 1, you see).  The first time we got together for our session, we had to call it off because the weather wasn’t so wonderful for a little guy who was just getting over being sick… And then, after several more failed attempts at rescheduling [bad weather, shoulder surgery, and more], we finally got the stars to align and Mother Nature to calm down so we could try again.  Here’s a quick (and I do mean quick) little look into our time together:
