I only just started editing this session and I’m already lovin’ these two so much!  The colors are so refreshing and Little Lady E is just adorable as can be.  She’s 6 months old now…. Time has sure flown since her last session as a newborn!  She has mastered some major skills since then… she’s sitting up, laughing, rolling all around,  the works!  I’ll post more of her soon… I’m sure I’ll have a lot more I’ll want to share!  :)

Little Miss Personality.

Yup, that’s her.   You can tell just by the gleam of happiness in her eyes in that first picture that she means business… Fun, silly, adventurous business.  She talked my ear off from the moment I met her and I couldn’t help but fall head over heals for her happy, chatty personality… And, to top it off, she worked my camera like she was had been a runway model for 20 years.  She’s only 5 though… but I mean, seriously, this little one had all the moves and wasn’t too shy to strut her stuff for me and my camera!  I LOVED it!

How incredibly cute is this family? Both kids are so adorable, it’s ridiculous!

You’re probably wondering why I chose to title this post insane… Well, that’s how I’ve been feeling as of late. A week and a half ago, my computer broke… Leaving me high and dry with soooo much editing, order fulfillment, etc to do and no computer to work off of. I tried my darndest to make my laptop fill in for my broken computer, but it didn’t work… it just didn’t have enough memory to do anything.

Then to add more chaos to my world, I left my husband home in charge of all 3 of our kids last Wednesday so I could go to the Amy Wenzel Workshop in Grand Rapids, Michigan……….. OMG! I had so much fun! I learned a lot of great stuff, met sooo many cool people, and just really enjoyed Grand Rapids in general.  I can’t wait to show you some of the images I took while there… hopefully soon.

But that’s not where the insanity ends… My mom had surgery the day I left for Michigan.  And it didn’t go too well.  So, they had to redo her surgery this past Monday.  She is still in the hospital… And, she can look forward to another surgery in about 8 weeks.  :(

I mean, seriously people, things have been crazy here!  But, were dealing.

I do have some positive news though:  I am now equipped with an awesome, new Mac Computer (thanks to my sweet hubbie who gifted it to me for my bday)!!  The learning process has been slow, but I’m getting there!  A special thanks goes out to some sweet photog friends of mine who are willing to answer all my silly questions (like: how do you make right click button on my mouse work?!).  

Anyhow, here are a few more of the cute little family at the top of this post.  You also may remember them from HERE…. They are from Dallas and I’m so glad I got to meet them!

I just wanted to post a quick note to let all you guys know why I’ve been MIA as of lately… My computer is officially busted. Busted as in broken, crashed, worthless, dead. I am coming to you live right now via iPhone… Which might I add is a horrible way to blog.

Anyhow, please rest assured that due to my patient IT bro-in-law and dedicated IT guy in training husband, all my files (photos) that were not yet backed up (I know, I know.. I’ve learned my lesson… I will now back up MUCH more frequently!) have been recovered and I should be back up and running very soon on my laptop!!

Man!  These big  brown eyes on Mr. G are totally killing me over here!

I am finally ready to post the rest of this session from my Destination: Dallas  sessions…  And, gee, I’m loving the results of the time I spent with him!  I only hope he loves him too.  He wasn’t quite keen on the idea of my camera giving him so much attention at first… I think it made him a bit nervous.  But, after a while of us playing around together and him getting to know me a bit…  He opened up and let me get lots of great shots! 

So, Mister G, if your reading this:  Here are all the fun, sneaky shots we did to surprise your momma!  I’m sure she is surprised since we told her we weren’t taking pictures and that we were only just hanging out playing together!  ; ]  M
