Am I thrilled or what?!  I have been dying to post these photos for days now…  Not to mention, I’ve been bursting at the seems to announce my affiliation with Julie Martin, an amazing children’s clothing designer, who creates one of a kind clothing for little ladies sizes 12 months through 12/14 on her label, ZozoBugBaby!

ZozoBugBaby creates some of the freshest, most eclectic, ever-so-fab designs I’ve ever seen!  So when we, by chance, discussed back in January working together on doing a commercial shoot to promote part of her utterly cute, new spring clothing line, I was beyond thrilled!  The sweet designer children’s clothes Julie creates are more than perfect for what I call a *perfect* photo session and are, without a doubt, clothes that I’d love to have hanging in my own children’s closets!

Introducing the absolutely adorable Lollipop Garden Dress:

You’d never guess that my little angel A3 wasn’t feeling that great here…. but, unfortunately, she wasn’t.  She was just really excited to model this cute dress:

And, the  very summery and yummy colored  Ocean Swirl Skirt:

Finally, the Reata Skirt.  Yes, that’s right folks… it’s actually named after ME! How awesome is that?!

And, lastly, a shot I got of both my older girls modeling the Ocean Twirl Skirt and the Reata Skirt…  Love the colors on these clothes!  So gorgeous!

Seriously friends, ZozoBugBaby clothing is not only adorable, but is really, really well made and the attention to detail is superb.  Anything you buy will be adored by all!  Rush over to her shop and go wild… You’ll thank me later!  ;)

It is absolutely, without a doubt, impossible to look at the following images of this darling engaged couple and not think to yourself:

Wow!  This couple looks so over the moon in love… I bet they will live 100 years together laughing and having fun with each other!

She is just beaming with happiness on almost every single one of these… Love it!

There’s something just pure magical about the lighting and colors in this session…  I love so many that it was hard to choose where to start my editing.  I think the ones I pulled out to show you loyal blog readers are a fair glimpse into the gorgeous images these two proud parents-to-be are about to receive in their proofing gallery in just a few days.  Well… maybe.  : )

To my lovely friends, L + J:  I hope you love this little sneak peek…  You two are glowing with joy during this wonderful time and I’m so excited for you!  Not to mention, I can’t wait for your handsome little one to come along so I can snap up some photos of him too!

Eeeeeeeeeeeek!!

I am beyond thrilled with the shots I got this afternoon of my little girls…  I literally almost jumped out of my seat when I saw this one of my youngest flash across my computer screen…  I think I even let out a little yelp!

This image is part of a commercial project I’m working on for a fabulous children’s clothing designer…  As soon as I’m done taking/editing the images, I’ll share more.  For now, this is all you get…  :)

Those were the ingrediants for the lovely session I had Wednesday evening…  This bright little girl and her daddy were down for doing just about anything and were so much fun!  Truly a wonderful session!  Here are just a few of my top favorites… although, I must say, I had a lot and it was hard to narrow it down to just these!  I will prob share more later…

Yeah, that’s right.  You read it right.  I wash my dogs feet.

No, I don’t really have what you’d call a ‘prissy’ dog.  He’s not a teacup or a mini anything.  He’s just a small Wizard of Oz Toto dog  (Cairn Terrier)  named Toto.  And, who knows, maybe I’m turning him into a sissy little sassafras ninny, but I dunno…  I just don’t like it when his feet are dirty.  or dusty.  or contain any evidence that he’s been outside.  And, I certainly don’t want his semi-dirty pads getting anything funky on my light colored rug.  Eeeek…  I shiver at the thought!

So.  I wash his feet.  

Not every time he comes in from galavanting around the backyard.  But, most of the time.

Now, enough about my dog feet washing oddities…  Here’s to a pleasantly clean doggie-feet-day!

For the past week or so, I’ve been sitting around trying to be clever…  As the days following the earthquake in Haiti pass and the visuals of the devastation continue to pour in, I really feel compelled (like most of us do) to use my brain to come up with something interesting I can do or offer that would help drum up more support for this country in dire need of aid. The answer, of course, is pretty obvious to me as to what I should do…

Take the photography skill set that has been bestowed upon me and use it for something good.  for others.  in dire need.

So, without hesitiation, I want to announce the event Sugar Shots Photography will be hosting this Sunday, Feb 7th…  Love 4 Haiti: Valentine’s Mini Sessions!
