I can’t believe it…  Summer is officially over and Monday we head back to school!  I’m excited about what this school year will bring… My oldest is starting middle school and my middle child is starting kinder!  Should be an interesting year, to say the least!!

But, of course, what fun is school starting without all the back-to-school shopping?!  If you like the dress pictured above and can visualize your youngster sportin it…  Check out CourtneyCourtney!  This unique dress, called True Collar, is Courtney Chu’s latest creation and it is seriously spunky!  It’s perfect for layering as we move into crispy fall weather… And, it’s fun knowing that this dress was once just a regular collared shirt!

By the way, I must mention…  The above photo is quite possibly my favorite photo of A1 to date.  Love the attitude she gave me!

“Rad Ruffles” are the words that designer CourtneyCourtney used to describe this dress on a recent facebook post of hers…  And she was totally right on!  This dress is rad in every way possible… And, the ruffles only add to the radness of it all!

Completely unique and utterly fantastic.

That is how I describe the designs that make up the portfolio of the one and only, Courtney Chu.  Each peice from her inventive line of  children’s wear, known as CourtneyCourtney, is a one-of-a-kind and is made from repurposed materials…  They are funky, fresh, comfortable, and totally AWESOME!

And…. Lucky me!  I got to shoot her newest dress, called the Lime Loni 10 (the first item to roll out from in the tween sizes) on my daughter this past week and we totally had fun rocking it out!

Totally fun.  Totally unique.  Zozo does it again!

I’ve been meaning to blog these photos I did for ZozoBugBaby over a week ago, but things got out of control busy for a bit!  This adorable little top hit the shop last week and is completely adorable!  It’s also being offered in dress length for even more fun!  Go check it out… It’s called the Avery Twirl Top!

Oh me, oh my!  I love these colors… so vibrant and juicy!

Yes, you guessed it… It’s another creation by ZozoBugBaby!   This little number is set to be introduced as the Allie Dress and, if I had to guess, will probably be added to the shop sometime in the next day or so….  So, keep your eyes peeled!

And, let me just tell you… This dress is seriously yummy and cute!  I totally get a cool, citrus summer feel from it….  Such a comfy, yet adorable look that any little girl would be lucky to sport in the summer heat!

There is no doubt about it… Spring is here and the flowers are in full bloom!  I LOVE this time of year…  I love the colors found in people’s yards, the colors of the wild flowers (and some weeds) growing on the sides of the road, and switching over from our snuggly winter wear to light and fresh spring clothing!   Spring is just simply gorgeous from any angle….  

And to help usher in the luscious sights of spring, Julie Martin from ZozoBugBaby is coming out with the most wonderful twirly, spring inspired outfits… Her designs make you want want to dress up all cutesy and go out for a walk in a garden!  Or, go out and sit in a field of full of wild bluebonnets.  Or, better yet, take your kids out for a fun picnic in a wide open field of yellow flowers and clear blue skies…  Just for the heck of it!  The color palette that Julie is using just makes my head spin and makes me love spring even more!

Here is one of her latest creations, The Addison Swing Top and Capri Pants…. This outfit will added to her shop some time today, so get ready!

ZozoBugBaby creates some of the freshest, most eclectic, ever-so-fab designs I’ve ever seen!  So when we, by chance, discussed back in January working together on doing a commercial shoot to promote part of her utterly cute, new spring clothing line, I was beyond thrilled!  The sweet designer children’s clothes Julie creates are more than perfect for what I call a *perfect* photo session and are, without a doubt, clothes that I’d love to have hanging in my own children’s closets!
