One cake. One birthday boy. One family.

Totally wonderful family session centered around the sweetest little birthday boy!  My camera thoroughly enjoyed snapping away at his darling big, brown eyes and luscious wavy brown hair…  Siiiiigh.  What a cutie!

This little guy happens to not like cake….  He honestly wanted nothing to do with the sugar sweetness that is cake!  He did enjoy “finger painting” with the red icing though!  ;)

This little guy started off in this position – arms over head, eyes completely shut, body fully relaxed in the warm heated air – and pretty much stayed this way through out the entire time I photographed him!  He is such a darling, sweet little thing and I was amazed at how beautiful and perfect he is…  Really.  Just a dream to be around!

This has been a super busy week in my world…  4 more Mini-Sessions for Party For Layla and 4 Full Sessions have all taken place since this past Sunday!  WOW!  That’s a lot to handle in just 5 days time, especially when you got 3 little rugrats running around the house!!  (Btw, if you are waiting on me to get back to you by email or phone, please be patient with me….  I am trying to move through everything as fast as I can!  Ahhhh!  :-D )

… I have managed to edit their entire session.

I loved every minute of working with them because they are such nice people!  And, just like I mentioned on facebook last night, I was smiling all the way through the editing process as I finished their session… Their happiness and love for eachother is contagious in the form of a smile!  :-)

And, with his new favorite dragon…  Which he was veeeery animatedly telling us a story about. 

See.  Look at the antimation here!  So adorable!

He went on and on with his cute little story for about 6 or 7 minutes… It was seriously awesome and the cutest thing ever!

This last one is probably my favorite.  It was a highly unexpected shot with a super-antimated-storytelling expression!  I LOVE it!  :)

I just can’t help myself…  No matter how hard I try, I can’t resist the urge to post more from this absolutely stunning and wonderful senior session!

Not only is this girl totally sweet and genuine, but she’s also loads of fun and really talented!  This girl is definitely going places, so watch out world!

Whew!  This Sunday started out as a total wash… Literally!  The rain came from down from the heavens like there would be no end… But then, the happy little sun poked it’s head through the clouds and dried the ground just enough for me to continue with my day full of mini sessions!  Yay for the sun!

This session was mainly focused on getting headshots for her upcoming Dance Contest…  Isn’t she gorgeous?!  And, she’s only 13!

We had fun doing some “non-headshot” stuff too…

Sunday also consisted of some Party For Layla mini sessions….  What GREAT fun we had!  Thanks to all that came out!!  AND, I must mention that I am adding ANOTHER date to the Party For Layla Mini Sessions!!  THIS Sunday, April 25th!!  Click HERE to get more info and schedule an appointment with me or one of the other participating Houston area photographers!

These little cuties did not like sitting in the grass…. too itchy, I guess. I love this shot anyhow… Such adorable little unhappy faces, don’t you think?!  But, don’t worry… we only made them site there for about 3 or 4 shots before we swooped them up outta the grass and put them out of the misery!  ;)

I love this shot of Little Miss and her momma… So sweet!

And, she started walking during her session!  She took more steps than ever before as my camera snapped away!  She was sooo proud!

Oooo-la-la!  I love, love, love the colors in this session!  So vivid and full of life!  And then there’s the adorable little children featured in the midst of all these bright, fun colors….  Oh, they are too cute for words!  Very sweet, extremely polite, and somehow, even through the shy mannerisms, glimpses of very rambuctious and full-of-energy personalities were evident!  Just all around adorable!

than the combination of a first birthday and a photo session!  :)

This little angel, whom I’ve photographed before, just celebrated her first birthday!  The smile on her face is proof enough for me that she thoroughly enjoyed her smash cake!

This next one looks as though she’s thinking, “Hey, back it on up lady…. You are getting waaaay too close to my cake.“

Totally fun.  Totally unique.  Zozo does it again!
