The chair that saved the day…

Three cousins.  One amazing chair.  Children who are contained and can’t run off.

That, my friends, is what you call one heck of a chair!

I love this one… Little man being silly with his elephant mask while his sweet little cousin sits there smiling without even glancing at him once.

And lastly, a super sweet moment between mother and daughter…   This is what motherhood is all about.  Making your child sing with joy and laughter.

I had a fun evening yesterday getting to know this little sweetie and her mom and dad… It took a lot of coaxing, talk of fiction birds & trains, and trailing as she tried to run away from me to get her to peer into my camera, but it was definitely worth it!  Just look at that adorable face…  So sweet and full of personality!  Thanks for being such troopers mom and dad!

Yay!  The holiday season is upon us!  I am excited to announce that this year I will be doing Holiday Mini Sessions in my own town!!  The past two years, I only offered these minis in Austin and Dallas…  They were a big hit there, but I think it’s definitely time I offered this special to you guys too!

Keep in mind… These Holiday Mini Sessions do NOT have to be holiday themed or all about family.  They can be anything you want them to be: photos of yourself, your baby, your baby bump, your twins, your parents, your dog… whatever.

The session slots are limited and I expect that they won’t last all that long.  So, if you are interested or need more info, shoot me an email or give me a call so we can get you set up.  :)

Gorgeous, cool, non-humid weather is hard to come by in Houston… Even in the fall.  So, this family and I considered ourselves extremely lucky that we ended up having a refreshing breeze upon our backs.  It was the perfect day for a session in the park… And, so we did.

Little man was crawling all over the place for us!  I had to do some quick jumping around to keep up with him!

The one thing I love more than a party is a baby’s party…  It’s so much fun to see how happy they get being the center of attention (and also how tired they get – hehe, poor things!).  This little sweetheart had her first birthday party yesterday and her loving parents asked me to be the photographer for the fun event.  It was very refreshing to see how much these two wonderful people love this little girl…  I mean really love her.  And, adore her.

I love this last one…  She looks so tiny and sweet sitting all alone there on that rug with that gorgeous sunlight breaking in behind her.  And just look at how those long eyelashes are glowing!!  Siiiigh…

I’m loving this brand new dress style just released by CourtneyCourtney!  A comfy cowl neck dress made from all recycled materials: old shirts!  So fun and extremely unique!  Wearing it definitely gets heads turning and other mommies asking “Where did you get that adorable dress?!“…  Which, of course, never gets old!  : D

Everything about the photos in this entire post makes me happy!  I love the expressions.  The sparkling eyes.  The laughter.  Everything.

Now, I may be a little bit biased (because these are of my nieces and nephew), but seriously they are some of the cutest pictures I think I’ve ever taken!  I love their entire set of photos!  Everyone was in great spirits and literally did every pose and movement that I asked them to do, without a single complaint…. And, the girls had fun creating their own poses too, which were very interesting to say the least.  hehe.

What a session… Full of playing and fun!  This was the second time I’ve gotten to work with this little sweetie… and I was shocked to see how big he’s gotten since last year.  So much taller, but just as handsome as before.  ;)
