Accordions are totally in… Did you know?  Not the traditional ones that play music — although I do actually think those are pretty neat too… Neat enough that I even bought my youngest two daughters accordions for Christmas — but! I’m talking about accordion inspired items!  I’ve got two new products this year that are accordion style and they totally rock out my 2011 line-up!

The Accordion Brag Book

This little baby is packed will all kinds of exciting elements…  It’s wallet sized so it easily fits into your purse.  And because of it’s small size, it can be whipped out for a quick session of child bragging at a moment’s notice.  It features a gorgeous custom designed cover featuring your favorite image as the main attraction.  Nifty fan folded accordion style linen pages unfold to display more of your photos.  Oh, it’s also magnetic.  Which of course means that you can display it on your fridge at home or at the office on a filing cabinet… And you get the option to buy in sets of 3, which makes them the perfect grandparent gift.  Completely cool product.

The Accordion Album

Similar to the Accordion Brag Book… Only bigger and a lot more awe power!  It’s 4×8 in size and features a custom designed photo cover!  The size of this product is so unusually interesting which makes it unlike any other album you’ve seen before!  It also features fan folded accordion style linen pages like the Brag Book… only  much, much bigger!

The large pages give full spread images quite the awesome visual impact…

This album is a fun alternate to my other album (which will be pictured in my next post) for a couple of reasons…  It has a very fun, unique size.  And, it’s priced perfectly for not breaking the budget.

Wow… I’ve been away for far too long! I forced myself to completely shut down over the holiday season (literally had to not open my email or listen to voicemails), so I could spend some much needed time with my family.  But, surprisingly, the resting went by fast and now it’s time to get back to communicating with you all!

I’m super excited to be back actually… I’ve got some fresh, new products to show for my 2011 line-up!  I’m thrilled to offer these new high-end products and I really believe that once you SEE them in person, you will fall in love with them just like I did!

The Chromolux Panel

This little baby is so sleek. So modern. And, so incredibly glossy.  Really, it takes gloss to a higher level!  It’s your image printed directly onto a wooden panel and then finished off with a super high gloss.  And to make it even more awesome, it has an easel built right onto the back of it… It’s a glossy photo and frame all-in-one!  So fun!

I tried to capture the gloss with my lens, but I really couldn’t get it just right… You really have to see this product to get the full affect of it’s wow-factor.

The Metal Print

This product is uh-maaaaaze-ing….  I couldn’t stop staring at it when I first laid eyes and hands on it.  It’s just so… so unique.  And, so gorgeous.

It’s your image printed directly onto a sheer aluminum panel…  Very shiny. Bits of metal peeking through the image giving it an extremely distinct look.  Clean rounded edges.  And, hello?  Did I mention, it’s METAL?!?  So awesome.

And, the cool thing is that there are several ways to display this type of print…  On the wall using either brackets or a frosted frame (not pictured on this post) OR by using this very sleek Ice Block Stand for desktop display:

These two were simply adorable.

This photo is a dead giveaway… We had fun at this session!  Wonderful twin boys who completely adored their fun and loving parents.  It’s great to see families who have fun doing things together outdoors…  This family may live downtown in the big city, but they visit their farm and family every weekend out in the country!  It’s easy to see that these boys love to explore the land, giggle a lot, and share their love with all the wonderful people who surround them.

He tried and tried… But that heavy wheelbarrow just didn’t want to budge.

And, the smell that surrounded this hybrid tree that produces Lemonade Lemons was to die for!  I honestly wish I could have bottled up the sweet scent and brought some home with me!

Told you these parents were fun… This was an impromptu game of ring around the rosies.  Well, actually, it was ring around the lemons, but whatever.

With their sweet horse:

This gorgeous horse just wouldn’t step out from infront of the camera…  Everytime Dad got him to walk away, I’d turn my head and his nose would be right at my ear.  Which is when I snapped this next one.  I don’t think he was a horse at all…  He was a hog.  A camera HOG!

…for many mini holiday sessions!

Saturday was perfect weather for taking photos…  We had beautiful skies, a lovely breeze, and smiling families eager to get their mugs on film!  I can’t believe I almost cancelled all the sessions just because the day started off a bit rainy and glum.  I love it when the weather surprises me!

I love how sweet this next picture is… Incredibly adorable.

This little man taught me a lot during our time together exploring his great grandma’s home out in the country…  He taught me about cows, birds, old barns, where to step to avoid cow poo, and most importantly how to act completely goofy to keep the attention of a mischievous little, adorable boy!  (Keep in mind… I have three girls.  No boys.)

And as if that wasn’t enough for me to be excited about… It was drawn to my attention that this gorgeous hunk of land has been in their family since the 1880s and let me tell you:  It was full of surprises!

But, moving back to my experience with the little guy…  He was seriously so full of life and completely animated, which is always a treat to photograph!

There was something interesting literally around every corner of this little oasis in the middle of the pasture.  A photographer’s dreamland.

My littlest girl is in love with her new blanket and pillow set…  She loves it because of the bright fun colors, because it’s cuddly, and mostly because I made it for her.  I originally made it for her to take to Mother’s Day Out, but she wants to take it home with her everyday when she leaves school.  It makes me feel good that after considering learning to sew for the past 5 or 6 years, I’ve finally done just that!  I’ve been practicing for a while… But, this blanket and pillow is my favorite thing I’ve made so far.  Because it was for her.

Hadn’t seen these two adorable little bundles of joy since their newborn session in May… My how they’ve grown and changed!

The chair that saved the day…

Three cousins.  One amazing chair.  Children who are contained and can’t run off.

That, my friends, is what you call one heck of a chair!

I love this one… Little man being silly with his elephant mask while his sweet little cousin sits there smiling without even glancing at him once.

And lastly, a super sweet moment between mother and daughter…   This is what motherhood is all about.  Making your child sing with joy and laughter.
