Want to know a bit about the photographer behing the camera?  Well, for starters, my name is Reata Knieriemen….  Now let’s jump into list form (my absolute fave!):

I am Reata, although my birth certificate claims my name is Reatta.

I am a daughter…  The sixth baby born into a down-to-earth family where the kids were taught the value of a dollar and how hard work can take you ANYwhere you want to go.

I am a wife…  I am married to a sweet man named Chris.  He showers me with love everyday, gives me lots of attention, and most likely treats me better than I deserve… If I wasn’t already married to him, I’d marry him!

I am a mother… Three times over.  I have three kids and they are all girls.  I have a busy life, but it’s so much fun!

I am a vegetarian.

I am a huge Beatles Fan.  For as long as I can remember, I have been jamming out to The Beatles.   And furthermore, I have wanted to marry Paul McCartney since I was three years old.

I am 3/4 Czech and 1/4 German.

And, of course, I am a photographer!  For my entire life, I have found myself drawn to the arts; fashion and photography in particular… There has never been any one thing/job/profession that has caught my attention and touched me in the same way.  Becoming a photographer was a huge leap for me… It allowed me to have creative freedom present in my life on a day to day basis.  Every session and every photo is given so much of my attention and my hope is that when my clients view their imagery that they will be left speachless.  For me, photography is the most exciting and wonderful way that I have to express myself.
